
As President of SilverCrest Properties, Michael Gould sets the strategic direction for the company, oversees operations, develops new senior communities, and works to achieve the company's financial goals. Under his direction, the company has incorporated innovative programs into the traditional senior housing paradigm including wellness centers that contain warm water multi-purpose and therapy pools, massage, and state-of-the-art fitness equipment designed for seniors.
Mr. Gould established SilverCrest Properties in 1986 as a full-service company developing, constructing, marketing, and managing a continuum of senior housing options. The company maximizes the success of each project through careful market research, planning, creative design, and boundless ingenuity. Mr. Gould has expanded SilverCrest Properties by building and managing independent and assisted living and memory care campuses in several Minneapolis communities, including Richfield, St. Louis Park, New Brighton, and Eden Prairie, as well as Sartell, MN, Rochester, MN, Des Moines, IA and Converse, TX.
Prior to forming SilverCrest Properties, Mr. Gould was a Development Manager for Bor-Son Construction Companies and handled new projects. He received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Serving as Executive Vice President and Vice President of Development, Elizabeth York is active in daily management of the company. She also oversees all phases of development and construction. When developing a new facility, she works closely with contractors, City staff, architects, and designers to build high-quality communities on budget and on schedule. She is responsible for working out the day-to-day budget and daily management of the commercial properties.
Ms. York has worked with SilverCrest Properties for over 20 years. She has established many policies and procedures that contribute to the success of the company.
Previously, Ms. York worked for Bor-Son Construction in marketing and development. She received a degree in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University.

As Vice President of Operations, Dorothy Schoenfelder is responsible for all aspects of property management, including resident satisfaction, strategic planning, system development, budget and financial management, human resources and leadership development, quality control and training.
A co-founder of our service delivery model SilverAdvantAGE, Ms. Schoenfelder works diligently with the Campus Directors to ensure that SilverCrest residents thrive in all phases of their lives on our campuses, resulting in high levels of resident and family satisfaction, high occupancy levels and a strong financial position.
Ms. Schoenfelder is a licensed Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the senior housing industry. Her work history includes management experience in nursing homes, assisted living, independent living, memory care, adult day care, and home health care.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Psychology.
John P. Cushen, Vice President of MarketingJohn P. Cushen is responsible for marketing SilverCrest Properties. He identifies, markets and formulates marketing strategies for future properties and developments, as well as creates marketing plans for existing properties. His duties include preparing the corporate marketing budget, setting the strategic marketing vision, establishing the advertising direction, and training and developing marketing professionals.
A co-founder of our service delivery model, SilverAdvantAGE, his skills include strategic planning, training and development, budget planning and control, quality assurance, and implementing new products and services.
Mr. Cushen has over 20 years of experience in hospitality, marketing and operations, managing hotels and senior living properties, and marketing new senior living communities. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Washington State University.

Serving as Director of Finance, Neal Frisch is responsible for the finances of SilverCrest Properties and works to maintain a strong financial standing. Mr. Frisch's specific duties include creating proformas for new housing developments, working closely with our investors and creating financial models. Providing budget and financial management support to the current properties allows staff to focus on creating Senior Communities of Excellence, while maintaining financial integrity.
Prior to joining SilverCrest Properties, Mr. Frisch worked in various accounting and finance roles in retail, manufacturing and service companies and most recently Target Corporation.
He received a BS in Accounting and minor in Finance from Moorhead State University and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch College.

Kristina Chase is responsible for dining services operations of SilverCrest communities and programs. She works with Directors of Dining Services to develop budgets, monitor expenses, and form and implement policies and procedures. She also works with the individual Directors to create menus, coordinate purchasing, and design quality assurance programs. Ms. Chase is responsible for monthly inspections, staff training, and implementing recommendations for improving the dining program.
Ms. Chase has over 20 years of experience in food service management. Her work history includes managing restaurants and food and dining services in nursing homes, assisted living and independent living facilities. Her skills include developing menus and recipes, budget planning and control, quality assurance, and operations and personnel management.
She has a degree in nutrition and is a Registered Dietetic Technician. She is a Certified Food Service Manager in the State of Minnesota.
